The best AI video ad generators, sorted by what you start with
The best AI video ad generator depends on where you start. If you want a presenter talking to camera, look at HeyGen, Synthesia or Arcads. If you want to start from a product page or your website, Creatify or adkix. If you want to edit your own footage with AI help, Veed or InVideo. This comparison is written by the adkix team.
Who wrote this comparison, and how
The adkix team wrote this list, and adkix is on it. Better to say it up front: you are reading a comparison made by one of the tools being compared.
Our rules: every description comes from the tool's own website, read on 4 October 2026 and put in our own words. No scores, no quality ranking, no reviews. No prices either: they change, and each tool's pricing page is the one to trust.
The tools are grouped by use, because the real question is what you have to begin with: a script, a website, or footage you have already shot.

If you want a presenter on screen
HeyGen is built around the avatar. You start from a script, a photo, audio or a PDF, and a synthetic person delivers it to camera. The site highlights an avatar that learns the way you talk, and video translation in your cloned voice, in 175+ languages and dialects according to HeyGen. Pick it if your ad needs a face, ideally yours.
Synthesia turns a script, a document or a PowerPoint into a video with an avatar and voice-over. The site talks mostly about training: quizzes, export to learning platforms, one-click translation. A short ad is possible, but the tool is aimed first at HR and learning teams in large organisations.
Arcads has an AI actor perform your script, picked from 1,000+ profiles according to the site, or one you generate yourself. The formats mimic creator videos: unboxings, product demos, an actor talking to camera. It is designed for teams testing a lot of paid ads, with online brands and mobile apps first in line.
If you want to start from your website or a product page
Creatify turns a product page link into a video ad and goes deep on media buying: batch variants, A/B tests, publishing to your ad accounts, performance tracking, competitor ads to study. It also offers avatars and a node-based editor. It is a tool for user acquisition teams.
adkix starts from your website address or your Instagram account. It reads your promise, your colours and your logo, suggests angles, and you approve the angle, the style and the script before anything is produced. You get a vertical video of about 15 seconds, 30 seconds or one minute: a story, a natural voice-over, shots in your brand colours, an original music track and word-by-word captions, in six languages.
What adkix does not have: no avatar, no presenter, no timeline editor, no templates, no real footage of your place or product. It suits a small team that wants to post every week without hiring an editor.
If you want to edit it yourself, with AI help
Veed is an online video editor built for social media. You bring your footage, record yourself, or generate a video from a prompt. The site puts automatic subtitles and the brand kit first, alongside avatars, background noise removal and eye contact correction. A good choice if you already have footage.
InVideo presents itself as a platform for serious creatives. You upload your footage, describe the edit, and an agent applies it on a multitrack timeline you can take over at any frame. Storyboarding, an AI co-writer and real-time collaboration round it out. It is the closest to traditional editing software.

Frequently asked questions
What is the best AI video ad generator?
There is no single best one for everybody. Choose by your starting point: a presenter, your website, or your own footage.
Which tool should I pick for a talking avatar?
HeyGen, Synthesia or Arcads, which are built around avatars or AI actors. adkix does not offer them.
Which tool starts straight from my website?
adkix starts from your website address or your Instagram account, and Creatify from a product page link. The first aims for a video that tells a story, the second for batches of ad variants.
Why are there no prices in this comparison?
Because they change often and we would rather not show an outdated price. Check each tool's pricing page on the day you choose.
Is this comparison neutral?
No, it is written by the adkix team. We stick to what each tool says about itself on its own website, with no scores or reviews.
