An Arcads alternative: a story instead of a testimonial
Arcads gives you a library of 1,000+ AI actors for UGC-style ads, plus several video models and editing tools in one place. adkix has no actors at all. It reads your website or Instagram account, writes a short story and delivers an edited vertical video with a voice-over, original music and shots generated in your brand colours.
What Arcads is good at
Arcads is designed around UGC: someone talking to camera, the way a customer would in a review clip. Their site lists over 1,000 AI actors, and you can create your own. Actors can hold your product, show your app or wear your clothes, and you set their emotion by describing it in words.
Its second strength is bringing tools together. Several video and image generation models sit behind one interface, surrounded by utilities: captions, background removal, voice and actor swaps, camera angles, video extension, transcription, and translation into more than 30 languages.
It is also aimed at performance teams that test a lot: ready-made ad formats, an infinite-canvas workspace for team workflows, and dedicated pages for e-commerce, mobile apps and SaaS.
- You want testimonial-style ads with a person on camera.
- You need an actor holding or demoing your product.
- You test many hooks and actors across campaigns.
- You prefer to pick the video model yourself and refine the output.
Arcads or adkix: three questions
Both make vertical videos for social, but they answer different needs.
Do you want a face on screen?
If yes, Arcads is built for it. adkix has no actors or avatars; its videos are generated shots carried by a voice-over.
Do you already have your message?
With an Arcads actor, you bring what they say. adkix starts from your site or Instagram, suggests angles and writes the script, which you approve before production.
Do you want tools or a finished file?
Arcads hands you a toolbox to refine the video. adkix delivers it edited in about 30 minutes; you can redo a scene, change a line or the voice, with no timeline.

What an adkix video looks like
An invented example, just to show the format: an app that helps yoga teachers fill their classes. No actress giving a testimonial. adkix reads the site, suggests the half-empty class angle, and writes a script along these lines:
You get a 30-second video: the teacher in a room that feels too big, a phone buzzing, the room filling up. Shots are generated in the app's colours, the voice-over tells the story, original music follows the cuts, captions animate word by word. None of it is filmed: adkix does not shoot real footage of your place or product.
- Claire, a yoga teacher, taught her Tuesday class to three mats.
- She never knew who would turn up.
- Since she posts her slots on the app, Tuesday is fully booked.
